op5 has developed a Nagios or op5 Monitor plugin to monitor your Vmware ESX infrastructure. A new How-To at op5 Support page describe how to use it, it can be found here.

The guide is op5 Monitor centric but op5 Monitor is based on Nagios so if you are used to Nagios it will probably be no problem to get it running.

This plugin is used in an earlier article "Create Cacti or op5 Statistics graphs with op5 VmWare ESX3 plugin" and the plugin can be found here.
